Drukhari Take the Field

They still need a lot of touching up, but at least I have a serviceable paint job on my new Drukhari army.

First up, their leader...the Succubus!

Next we have a squad of Reaver bikes, led by an Arena Champion.

The third unit is a group of ten pain-loving Wyches. I'll show a few individual models and then the group shot.

Last but definitely not least is our big gun, the fast and deadly Venom!

Good news in the comics world: My favorite superhero, Hawkman, is back in action with his new series debuting today!

Soul Wars

Head on over to the Warhammer Community for lots of info about Soul Wars, the upcoming Warhammer Age of Sigmar boxed set. Looks awesome...and looks expensive. I hope that (as with the current edition of 40k) they release a couple of smaller starter sets for folks who want to get their feet wet without taking the plunge. 

Strange Bedfellows

So I'm nearing the end of the original single-player Neverwinter Nights campaign and my intrepid heroes are traipsing around a fiery lair of fire-loving fire giants. What else do I find in this dungeon? Trolls. Lots of trolls. Say whaaaat? A fire giant stronghold seems like the last place you'd find hordes of trolls.

That Worked So Well!

Thus far, when I've painted Warhammer 40k miniatures, I've applied the primer coat using a paintbrush. Yesterday I picked up a can of spray primer from our local Games Workshop store and...well...let's just say I'll never hand-primer a miniature again as long as I live!
