The public playtest for Pathfinder Second Edition launches today. Click here to download the materials for free. (You can also order the playtest materials in hardcover, but according to EN World, there are delays in shipping.) In contrast to my near-maniacal obsession with the D&D Fifth Edition playtest (click the "5e" topic in the list of labels to sample the hundreds of posts indicating exactly how obsessed I was), I don't expect that I'll participate in any sort of formal way. Still, I'm looking forward to reading the new rules to see how Pathfinder continues to evolve from its D&D 3e roots.
